I would like to start off with a quote...
"Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist when you grow up"
-Pablo Picasso
As a future art teacher I aspire influence students so that they are able to utilize art as a form of expressionism. Sometimes young kids are forced to grow up fast, unfortunately this can lead to a dead end in their creativity. My philosophy is to stop that "dead end," and continue to allow students' creativity to flow.
At a young age my older brother was my Art teacher. Since I was a shy,
anti-social kid...art was my escape from reality.
So I am forever grateful for that my brother took the time to bring art into my life.
